Homestay Experiences

Andre from Germany: "Life in New Zealand, or at least in Auckland, is quite similar to German life, but 'Kiwis' tend to be more open hearted. My homestay family took me to an amazing quiz night in Albany and the food my host-mother cooks is just amazing. New Zealand offers a great range of food. I miss my family, but I feel welcomed."
We were so lucky to have the opportunity to host Rio for a year. Rio was very generous with her time with my daughter Esme, teaching her origami and playing games with her before dinner. We had lots of fun going on little trips to places like Devonport, Snow Planet, Mission Bay and Wenderholm. Rio always joined in with family activities, such as playing board games, drawing or playing guitar.
