At Kristin we have created an environment where learning challenges, nurtures and stimulates. An environment that fulfills intellectual, physical, and emotional needs. A place that creates able, outward thinking, and future ready individuals.
Woven together, those aspects set students up for a lifetime of learning.
Progress with vision, integrity and love
Over 46 years we’ve built Kristin into a nurturing community where children of all ages feel a sense of belonging. Our goal is to help them think creatively, reason critically, communicate effectively and learn enthusiastically throughout life.
One Campus. Four Learning Environments.
Our Junior, Middle and Senior Schools are all on the same campus – 50 acres of park-like grounds with state-of-the-art facilities. Our littlest children enjoy a stunning Early Learning Centre environment within the Kristin campus.
IB World School
Over 30 years ago we were the first school in New Zealand to introduce the International Baccalaureate programme, and we continue to deliver tailored, inquiry-based IB programmes for all students from Kindergarten onwards.
Our Senior School students have a choice to study either NCEA or the two-year IB Diploma, depending on their preferred learning-style and future goals.
The Environment to Prosper
While each of our schools follows the Kristin philosophy, they create their own distinct character relative to the age of their students. One of the key threads in the fabric of our school is encouraging interaction between the age groups, from Kindergarten to Year 13, and the children benefit greatly from the opportunity to interact and learn from their fellow students, both young and old.
Kristin Bus Routes
We make it easier for students to access a Kristin education by providing a fleet of dedicated Kristin buses, where our drivers know our students by name. Find a bus route near you.
As a school we believe in…
Fostering the desire to learn and creating an environment where children are challenged to flourish.
The pursuit of excellence, through our IB curriculum and in all areas of school life.
The power of choice and opportunity.
The strength of community, with love at its heart, to build confident, caring people.
Living up to traditional Christian values, demonstrated through honesty, trust, respect, kindness, selflessness, spirituality and hope.
Preparing our students to be future ready, prepared to thrive and contribute to making our world a better place.
