At the heart of Kristin's values is a belief that the best education does more than simply instil knowledge in the minds of students.

It's about nurturing their mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social wellbeing, so that they can grow and reach their potential. Our School Deans and Wellness Team in collaboration with students, staff and parents play a key role in providing this support in a safe and positive environment.

Our student wellbeing resourcing across all three schools ensures our programmes are met, and exceed, international best practice. We strongly believe that the quality of interpersonal relationships is one of the critical dimensions that sets Kristin apart from other schools.

We continue to improve students’ experiences by focusing on differentiated learning, with a strong emphasis on student wellbeing, mental health, personal goals and the development of the whole person.

Every student has a Dean, and in some year levels an Associate Dean, to take care of their wellbeing. These skilled and experienced teachers oversee the students and are a point of contact for parents.

Wellness Centre

We offer a purpose-built Wellness Centre that encompasses health, counselling, chaplaincy and attendance administration. Our counselling team also offer information, online podcasts and courses for parents wanting to connect positively with their children.

Student Mentors

Our Student Mentors provide support and guidance to younger students throughout the school. The student mentor programme opens up leadership opportunities to our Junior, Middle and Senior School students and enables them to become great role models to our younger students, as well as providing academic or organisational assistance where required.

Our House system is a significant part of the Kristin culture. Every student and teacher belongs to one of our four Houses; Apollo, Jupiter, Mariner and Saturn. Our Junior Middle and Senior School House Captains are elected from their respective student bodies.  These students lead their peers in fun and competitive activities, helping to develop a rich team culture throughout the school. The House spirit is most evident at school events such as Athletics Day, Swimming Sports and House Music Competitions.

Kristin Family and Friends

Our Kristin Family and Friends (KFF) group is a big part of our thriving community. They are involved in running social events, fundraisers, community groups, and other special events to help families feel settled and welcome in our Kristin School family.

Masterclasses and Support Programmes

We host regular Masterclasses and support programmes for Kristin families and our local community on various aspects of parenting and wellbeing.
